Antigua - Cocobay Resort

Does Cocobay Resort in Antigua provide its guests with flotation mats for the ocean? Do the rooms have mini-fridges? Thanks!

Hi,

As far as I'm aware, they don't have floation mats for the sea, but there are small fridges in the cottages.

I've been to Cocbay twice, so let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, Milliemoo! Have you eaten at Sheer restaurant while staying at Cocobay? If so, do you recommend it? Is the food, atmosphere and service good? How much is the extra fee since Sheer is not included in the meal plan? Does the meal plan at Cocobay include all drinks, or just drinks with dinner? Is there beach drink service? If so, is this included? Thanks for the help!

Hi Becca,

Yes we had the opportunity to eat at Sheer (twice) and on both occassions the food/service/drinks/atmosphere was fantastic. O'Neal the manager was kind enough to invite us to Sheer the first time, and it was so good we went back on our last night.

The costs are reasonable ( far cheaper than the equivilent standard in Edinburgh ) and it's worth every penny. There is also a premium bar which is not in the all inclusive plan.

Drinks from the main bar are included (all day) and I can highly recomend the Pina Coladas ! Unfortunately they do not take drinks orders from the beach, but the pool is only a few steps away from the bar.

I have some great photos if you'd like to see ([email protected]).

Cath x

Im trying to sort out if Im taking a huge risk by going to Antigua in August, Ive heard its generally one of the dryer islands, but I know there is always a risk during hurricane season, please share thoughts if your been there in summer months, also curious if anyone recommends a certain seafront room at Cocobay resort
