another destination that compares to jamaica any suggestions

I can not say enough about jamaica. love it. But would like try somewere else. i am looking for 1) service want to feel like royality . 2) warm ocean, clean . 3) lots of up scale reastaunts..keep in mind i live in vegas would like the best that a resort that is all incluive can ofer. 4) lots of activitys on property . 5) and a resort that truely means all incluive. any help out there? I would highly suggest couples negril for people that have not visited jamaica. It has all of the above and a great value. However i have been to jamaica 3 times and want to try somewere new.

You can try Barbados and stay at Sandy Lane it is not all inclusive but very upscale,Almond Beach Village is a good AI resort.

No offense, but I feel the food and service in Las Vegas is overpriced and overrated. After 9 trips, it just doesn't do it for us anymore. We much prefer the Riviera Maya area of Mexico. Look at resorts like The Royal Playa del Carmen, any of the Secrets, Excellance or Iberostar resorts.

Also look at the RIU in Aruba. I would never recommend a RIU anywhere else especially in Jamaica.

Galley Bay in Antigua gets really great reviews. It's quite expensive though.

Look into the Iberostar Grand Paraiso in Mexico's Riviera Maya. It is an adults only all inclusive that is total luxury. You will have a butler and concierge, great food, fantastic service, etc.

Upscale and All inclusive are not synonymous in my book. From Couples Negil to somewhere like Sandy Lane is probably not your cup of tea, but there are numerous resort on Barbados that would have meal plans available, etc.

You might try Aruba. The Radission or Hyatt are nice hotels with decent restaurants. There are a number of excellent restaurants close by.

Also, as KVR mentioned, there are many all incl. in the Rivera Maya. Secrets is excellent!
