I've seen a few others ask but no replies yet about the Angelus. Has anyone stayed at or seen the hotel and grounds and beach for this hotel? I am thinking of going in early February. Thanks!

Thanks, cw. I didn't bring up that thread before for some reason when I searched the first time.

It's getting a little settled in but getting the bugs out will take awhile. It's on the Atlantic side so the water will be a bit rough. I know that their head chef went to Timothy Beach Resort because of money problems.

I did a hotel inspection of The Angelus in April. Rooms were clean and spacious. The rooms I saw had a full kitchen - great for families.

Located next to the Marriott, the beach is very nice and uncrowded.

They have karaoke every Friday night, and Sunday's at 2:30PM is the pig roast.

On Monday evenings they have a spectacular bonfire while you listen to their DJ.

Rates are very reasonable. Hotel was not full when I was there.
