I was about to say Hyatt Regency Curacao (excellent golf court!) but too bad it is not all inclusive.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it but the couple we're going with have never gone on an AI vacation and they really want to try it so I think that's what we'll end up doing. Also, FYI to anyone else who has suggestions...we have not looked into Mexico at all.....so many reports coming thru about violence that we just don't feel safe

The best destinations for AI is Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. All of those places someone has issues with safety. We been to all 3. Mexico x 9 and the others x 1. We are headed back to Playa del Carmen in December. The tourist areas of Mexico are safe. The news reports are regarding the boarder towns. If you want to rule Mexico out, that's fine, but please do so for the right reasons and not because of the media and their scare tatics.

The Caribbean does not have as many AI options. For your critieria I would suggest Aruba. Golf, great beaches and considered "safe". Though I highly discourage AI there because there is just so many great resturants and bars, there are a few AI hotels. Look at the Divi, Manchebo, RIU and the Occidential.

Another option would be to look up the Marriott hotels. Most all of their Caribbean destinations offer an AI plan. There is one in Grand Cayman, St. Thomas, Curacao, Aruba, and St. Kitts.

St. Martin/St. Marteen has a few AI hotels. Haven't been there yet. I've read comments on this site regarding safety factors there also, so if interested do a search and read the info.

St. Lucia has several AI hotels. There is a golf course. Some hotels will offer golf packages. Beaches are nice, but won't be the crystal clear water and white sandy beaches if that's what you are looking for.

Sandals has hotels in Jamaica, Antigua, Bahamas and St. Lucia. All offers golf packages.

Provo, Turks and Caicos has fabulous beaches and a golf course. Look at the Veranda Resort.

Maybe those suggestions will get you started in some research to find what you are looking for.

Oh, forgot about Barbados. Haven't been there yet either, but they have AI hotels and golf. Just check the hotels offering AI plans very closey. Even though they advertise themselves as an AI some don't include the alcohol drinks.
