Alexandra Resort and Spa

Anyone have any thoughts on Alexandra Resort and Bay in Grace Bay, TCI?

We stayed there for two weeks in September 2003. We loved it. We were on the fourth floor, middle of the building and from our balcony we looked down on the beach and ocean. What exactly would you like to know.

Two of the buildings are completed. The condo suites are very nice. They have a pool bar and Restaurant Orchid. That said lots of construction around Alexandra. The Palms, Somerset and some on the Alexandra property.

Is the Alexandra in a good location and does the construction become a nuisance?

Yes, the Alexandra is in a good location. And the construction did not bother us at all.

We were in Provo April 2004 and I suspect there is significantly more construction than when Shirley was there in 03. Didn't stay at Alexandra but there were people staying at Sibonne just east of Alexandra that complained about it. Good location compared to what. If you want to go to Ports of Call to eat and shop a long walk. Bay Bistro at Sobonne is within walking distance as is Hemmingways at The Sands. There really isn't a bad location on Grace Bay. Do recommend a car.
