My first trip to Anguilla is a little more than a week away, and I'm looking for ideas for relatively affordable lunches (say, 50 dollars for two, not including drinks). (I tend to favor big late lunches and then small snacks at dinner.) Any ideas?

affordable lunches can be had at Uncle Erinies, and Gwens, both on Shoal Bay.

Roy's & Sunsets at Sandy Ground; E's Oven on the main road; Ferryboat Inn at Blowing Point; Elodia's on Shoal Bay East.

I would add Tasty's for his lobster salad at lunchtime and Johnno's if you want a great fish sandwich.

For a big lunch that won't be too expensive I'd recommend Trattoria Tramonto, on Shoal Bay WEST. We had some pasta and a salad that were quite filling, and I think our bill was probably about $60 with two glasses of wine and a dessert. When you are done they let you use the beach chairs out front. Shoal Bay West is pretty quiet, lunch followed by some lounging is pretty much my ideal afternoon!
