Where do Puerto Ricans shop? I know about Plaza las Americas etc. but I am looking for everyday stuff - I live in the Caribbean - is there an everyday shopping area in San Juan? I mean stuff like electrical appliances, hardware, furniture, plumbing supplies?? Thanks

We will be in San Juan PR for 1 day going and 1 day returning from a cruise. We will have approx 10 hrs on each of these days. I'm sure we'll want to see Old San Juan, but what else would you recommend for a 1st time visitor? It needs to be something in San Juan, since that's where we'll be flying into and out of.

BBJ
