4 Couples - Which Island?
There are 4 couples all in our late twenties/early thirties. We are looking for a resort on the beach. Doesn't have to be AI. There needs to be more to do than just lay around all day.(snorkling, horseback riding, etc). Great food. Not too touristy. And definitely less children. We are looking towards April ...so preferably a place that would be in low season at this time.
Thanks!

Hello May,
Generally low season throughout the Caribbean is 15 Apr - 15 Dec...though it can vary. If you are looking for an island not too touristy with more than just beach stuff I'd suggest Tobago, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. John or any of the BVIs. With 4 couples you could all go in on a villa rental to be even more relaxed. See me post under "Caribbean Villas" topic I listed some links for rental sites.

Hi all,
Along the lines of what May is looking for...
What is the name of that small, private island that is frequently discussed here. One of the regular posters had a section of her website devoted to it along with a trip review. I think the one complaint was that the sand was blackish as opposed to white. There were lots of activities, and is was a "partial" AI. I've been trying to remember the name, and I think it would suit May's requirements as well.
Can anybody help?
