Helen Mirren, Judy Dench, Kate Winslet. I loved Keira Knightley in "Atonement." All time favorites are Audrey Hepburn and Katherine Hepburn. And I like Angelina Jolie too. I first realized how good she was when I saw "Girl, Interrupted."

Yep, Penelope Cruz and Johnny Depp are filming another Pirates of the Caribbean movie here in Hawaii, but I have not been lucky enough to spot anything Pirates related.
Did walk through the back part of the "Hawaii 5-0" set yesterday, though - but I don't know who any of the actors in that show are, so I wouldn't have recognized them if I saw them.

Gloria Crahame !! Reminds me of my youth..she was wonderful in The Bad and The Beautiful and as Ado Annie in Oklahoma (tho I'd have preferred her predecessor in that role...Celeste Holm (see High Society and All About Eve)
Laura Linney is wonderful.... she was so evil in The House of Mirth.

Angelina Jolie and Merryl Streep, and Sandra Bullock for comedies, yes.
Elizabeth Taylor was so gorgeous when she was younger-even middle aged before her back and pain aged and fattened her.
the best movie she ever did was Butterfield 8. I loved Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, but not in anything since..Well maybe the Pelican movie, but her eyebrows are terrible , like they tried to make them as wide as her mouth

Doesn't anyone like Shirley Henderson? She has been my favorite for years.
I also like Amy Adams quite a bit. Her little Irish love movie was horrible, but everyone makes a horrible film. Mostly, I think she is terrific.
Tilda Swinton is great too. I used to love Helena Bonham Carter.

Shirley Henderson? I had to look her up. Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter?
The name made me think about Shirley Knight. I saw her on stage in Love, Loss and What I Wore - and loved her in it.
I like Amy Adams too and even liked the horrible Irish movie. LOVED her in Enchanted. I bought Charlie Wilson's War so I could see her in that again.

Oh, she was so great in Enchanted.
Shirley has had quite a career, and lots of it was before Moaning Myrtle. She was a junkie operetta star in Topsy Turvy, Bridget Jones' buddy, a rival diva to Amy Adams in Miss Whatever Lives for a Day, and a big deal in UK indie movies for a couple of decades. Love her.
Eileen Atkins. An acting goddess.
