Whistler Condos
We are planning a family reunion in Whistler for early Feb 2006. We want to be in Whistler Village and be able to ski in-ski out. We prefer one large condo with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, but would be satisfied with one two bedroom/2 bath condo and one three bedroom/2 bath condo.

This is somewhat of a tall order. The places that could possibly be characterized as Whistler Village ski in/ski out (Pan Pacific, Sundial, Carleton, Whistler Village Resort, Westin) are more hotel-style, and rarely have condo rooms with more than 2 bedrooms.
Perhaps the closest match to your requirements would be Telemark, which is next to the Westin. During the winter, it is ski in, but not ski out - you'll have to walk a short distance (less than a block) to the lifts. Another choice would be Northern Lights, which does have condos up to 4br size. If you know where you are going, you can ski in during winter, but it is a long walk to the lifts, at least 3 blocks.
Do you have to be in the Village proper? There are a series of true ski in-ski-out properties along the lower slopes of Blackcomb Mtn, in what is referred to as the Upper Village. This might fit your specs better. There are very nice 3br-4br condos in Pinnacle Ridge, Cedar Hollow, and Cedar Ridge. All of these are above Whistler Village, but only a short walk away. You can ski up to the door of many of these.
Lastly, there are several Upper Village ski in-ski out properties along Blackcomb's Magic Chair (highest to lowest); Marriott, Painted Cliff, Woodrun, and Aspens. Again, it is rare for these to be more than 2 bedrooms.
Again, I think Pinnacle Ridge, Cedar Hollow, and Cedar Ridge will come closest to what it sounds like you want.

There are no ski-/ski-out condos in Whistler Village. You have to take a condo in the upper village or in Whistler creek side.
Beside this there are nice condos close to the gondola base in Whistler Village. You can book all condos online via www.mywhistler.com

Hi Arbegold,
There are definitely ski in/ski out condos in the village. You should google snowy creek whistler, and you will find a number of privately owned Snowy Creek townhomes that will fit your needs. These are large 4 and 5 bedroom units that are right on the ski out run and only a one minute walk to the village. It is a quiet location, and you will not need to drive anywhere once you are there. Just make sure you rent one that has been recently renovated. They were built in 1989, and most have had major renos, but not all have. You absolutely can not beat this location. Cheers, Al
