What to do with 6 days in Canada
I have 6 days to spend in Canada, starting at Niagara Falls. I have two children, ages 12 and 15. I am clueless as to where to go and what to do. I am driving my own car so transportation is not a problem. Any suggestions? Toronto? Montreal? Any others? and what to do when we get there. We will probably be staying at Marriott brand hotels since I am a rewards member.

Why not get a library book on travel to Canada - there should be a choice of books and then you can decide what appeals to you and your children.
Since you're starting in Ontario www.ontariotravel.net/

Hello dldt37,
You say your Canadian trip will start in Niagara Falls, but you don't say where it will end. Do you need to return to Niagara Falls at the end of the 6 days, or is the 6-day loop part of a longer trip that starts and end in the USA? I'm guessing it's the latter. Knowing where you'll be heading after Canada will help folks to make suggestions.
Also, what do your children enjoy? Are they city kids, nature lovers, etc.?
If you don't get much response, you might try a new thread that has "Ontario" or "Niagara" in the title. Some posters only open threads connected with their own area of expertise.
Hope that helps.

We actually have 10 days to travel but getting to Niagara Falls will take two of them each way. I guess we need to end in the vicinity of Niagara Falls by the end of the 7 day.
My kids are 12 and 15. Adventure types. Not much for looking at buildings or museums. (Although the CN tower would definelty be of interest to them.)

Forfeit the Marriott Rewards for this trip. Head to Algonquin Park which is about 3 hours north of Toronto. For kids who like adventure, this is the place for them....canoe, kayak, hike, swim, camp.
You might even consider renting a cottage for the week. From Niagara Falls, Canada it will take you about 1.5 hours to get to Toronto, then about 3 hours North from there to Algonquin Park. B/f heading out from NF you can also do some adventure type things in that area: Whirlpool Jet Boats & Maid of the Mist Tour( not sure if this actually qualifies as "adventure" but I think your 12 year old & 15 year old wld enjoy it. And, so wld you). When are you coming to Canada?
