Actually - and don't everyone flame me, but I think the kids might somewhat enjoy a quick look as you drive by Casa Loma, but the tour is pretty boring for kids. It's great if you want to study the architecture, or are old enough to appreciate the effort and money it took to produce, but I'd skip it for the kids.

Being a 13 year old I recommend going to Paramount Canada's Wonderland. It is an amusement park in Woodbridge. It is a very popular attraction in Toronto. It has over 50 rollar coasters, and one of the world's biggest wave pools at the water park. I truely think you'll have a GREAT family vacation!!!

Hi Kathy, you have had some great advice from people about Toronto. I really agree about the theatre in Toronto.Having seen Lion King and Mama Mia I can tell you they were both excellent for everyone. We have lots of little theatres as well in Toronto but can't recommend anything offhand for 11 and 15 year old. There's Tony and Tina's wedding. Probably better for you than Second City. It's like being at a Italian wedding with the family and the guests and things are happening all around you. You are part of the wedding party. Don't forget to ask the hotel you are staying for hints. And take a bus tour around Toronto. It will give you an idea of what's available and give you the lay of the land. You can then decide what to go back to. Also, there is drop on-drop off tours that you get off and back on again for the day. It's really worth it. There's so many restaurants in Toronto that are great for families. I would not recomment Planet Hollywood(I think it closed anyway) or Fisherman's Wharf. Mr Greenjeans is a good place in Eaton Centre. Lone Star on Front St is a good place. Hot House Cafe is good. There's just so many places to eat. I would suggest Toronto Island definitely if the kids were younger. But I would say that you should go on the Ferry ride after dinner. it's so inexpensive and it gives you the best view of the Toronto skyline coming back. And Toronto Island is a great place to go if it's a hot day. But go either in the morning or early evening to avoid the crowds. I think you really enjoy visiting our city. Have fun
