Vandusen or Butchart Gardens
Hello,
I am in Vancouver and we intend to go to Victoria for a day trip. As Butchart Gardens are not in downtown Victoria and cost about 23 CAN, compared to 8 CAN for VanDusen, we would like to know: Are Butchart Gardens better than Vandusen and worth the money and hassle of going there? We have not been to Vandusen yet and would like to visit just one of the two.

While Van Dusen Gardens are worth seeing there isn't in my opinion any comparison to Butchart Gardens. If you are going to be in Victoria they are a must.
