Toronto weather in July

Hi JJC -

I've been living in Toronto for the last 8 years and found my first summer here unbearable. I grew up in Thunder Bay which is 1400 kms northwest of Toronto where the summers are sunny and hot, but not an ounce of humidity so it was quite a shock. July is definitely a good month sunshine-wise. If you're used to the humidity, then you'll be fine. However, we do get smog warnings that advise asthmatics and the elderly to stay indoors or at the very least keep physical activity to a minimum. I know I'm making it seem horrific, but it's best to be forewarned - however, if you're from NYC, then you'll know exactly what I'm talking about!

Lived (living) in T.O. for past 25 years...

We are use to hearing the 3 H's:

Hot, Hazy and Humid, with occassional thunderstorm. But yes you will get sun. It's sunny today...

Toronto weather is really unpredictable though. Meteorologists nightmare...
