Toronto to Calgary

Hi, Could someone brief me about any trains between Toronto and Calgary? How long do they take?Also how much is the usual airfare for Toronto-Calgary one-way and how long does it take?

There are no trains from Toronto to Calgary.

One-way airfare from Toronto to Calgary ranges from about $225 to over $1300, depending on all the usual factors. Flight time is about 4 hours.

There is no train from Toronto to Calgary. VIA Rail, however, does offer a passenger train service from Toronto to Edmonton. The duration of the journey is 49 hours. It's not that cheap. If you're careful in the selection of a flight, you can get a cheaper air fare. Anyway, just in case you're interested, you can find out more about VIA Rail at

Guess its easier to fly between the two places.

It is a scheduled 4 hours and 15 minutes Toronto to Calgary on Air Canada. Less time is required coming back because of the prevailing tail wind when flying west to east.
