Jazz festival in Toronto

My husband and I will be staying at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto this week 6/26 through 6/29.

I see there is a jazz festival going on all week and that Nathan Phillips Square looks like it will be very busy. We were planning on using the old city hall parking instead of valet parking at the Sheraton Centre. Now I am wondering if that will even be possible with all the people coming to the jazz festival. Also, I was wondering do you think we will be able to hear music inside the Sheraton while they are playing there?

A good place to park in that area is under Bell Trinity Square (483 Bay Street), which is right across from Nathan Phillips. We park there all the time on the weekends - it's cheap and convenient, and not all that busy.

Thanks SusanInToronto! Can you tell me is Bell Trinity Square in the middle of the block or on a corner? If it is on the corner what is the cross street?

I stayed at the Sheraton during a "rave" concert at the Square. It was actually pretty loud, but that was rave music, not jazz.

You could ask for the other side of the building, although you will lose a view.

MikeT I hope jazz music is quiet enough so that I can't hear from inside the Sheraton but I guess we will find out.

Bell Trinity Square is right beside the Marriott at the Eaton Centre, so it's more or less in the middle of the block. If you're heading north on Bay, it's the building south of the Marriott. There's an entrance to the underground parking right there.
