Toronto -17 yr old-where to stay & things to do

I always get such good advice - so thanks in advance.

We want to spend about 3 days in Toronto with our 17 year old son. Any suggestions of where to stay and perhaps some things a younger person might like to do?

Consider the Holiday Inn on King for good location near Queen Street W. and the entertainment district... For sports, theres the Blue Jays, Hockey Hall of Fame, and places like Gretzkys Sports Bar... for Music, check Molson Ampitheatre, or We Will Rock You (if it is still running)... also consider Ontario Place, and check the weekly festivals in TO... Theres also Harbourfront, with stores and water tours.... that should keep you busy...

When? Weather matters.

The Hilton and the Sheraton, both downtown, have good indoor-outdoor pools.

What's the kid interested in?

Art, video games, sports, airplanes -- go to the Warplane Museum in Hamilton -- ??

What's he like to eat? Perhaps Toronto has a great restaurant with foods he loves but can't get at home.

If you're here July 24-27/08 Wakestock is a wakeboarding and somewhat skateboarding festival with music that takes place on the Toronto Islands. If he's into that, he'd like it. We went during the day last year and it was still tame then (I brought 13 year old daughter). I think it gets more intense as it gets later in the day.
Toronto Island is fun to visit anytime. They have a frisbee golfcourse that I think is free. Just bring frisbees.

The Ontario Science Centre, the Royal Ontario Musuem, Chinatown, Queen Street West, the CN Tower, the Eaton's Cente, a Toronto FC game at a cafe or restaurant if there's one going on during your visit.
