Timeshare Montreal Quebec City areas

Has anyone stayed in a timeshare not too far from Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa or Toronto areas? We would like to spend a week of timeshare, plus a week of hotel accommodation in order to see those areas. We have booked a TS week at Beaupre but may try to change to Lac Morency, St Hippolyte. Interested in history and local culture. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Jim, the areas you mention are pretty but not the usual areas tourists stay in; what other options does your timesharing plan have?

Could someone please recommend a more interesting area for a first visit to Canada?

Jim, does your timeshare plan give you very broad options ?; do you have a link to your selections that people could browse, it would be easier then to make recommendations.........
For something close to Montreal, I would recommend the Laurentians, St. Sauveur for example, which is an hour from Montreal; if you stayed in a hotel for your second week then you could easily travel to Quebec city and Ottawa from there;

If you started out your trip in the Toronto area (5 hour drive from Montreal) , then
you could see Niagara on the Lake and other areas, possibly drive to Montreal also for your second week, do a day trip to Ottawa, and so on.
The areas you mention are pretty rural; why did you pick those originally ?

jim01: Did you stay at Beaupre? We are also time share owners and want to know where you stayed and your opinion of the location and the facility. Thanks for your response.
