What do you know, our younger son and his girlfriend came back from the Falls. They rented a car and drove from Boston (he worked in Boston for a few days - that's why) - they both liked the US side more, especially the Goat Island.

This proves it: doesn't matter which side, you will love the falls! With a car, the US side, without a car - the Canadian side.

Goat Island is great but there are no hotels with a Fallsview on the U.S. side, and the area around Goat Island is not pleasant. Give me the Canadian side and I'll take my car and visit Goat Island.
