Your favourite Stratford Restaurants?
I think it's been a while since I've seen recommendations discussed. I'm especially interested in the moderate price range but would love to hear from anyone who has any relatively recent experiences?

These recommendations are in no particularl order but are all places that we have dined at this year, and within the past 6 years.
They range in price, style and food offerings considerably, but we enjoyed each one according to our mood and tastes at the time we dined. Sometimes we were a party of 2 or 4, other times a family group of 14 - 17. We visit Stratford several times a year and eat out at least once each visit so I'm able to suggest these. I've omitted places we did not enjoy (like The Church) whether due to food or bad service/attitude or both.
Pazzo Restaurant - (have not been to their pizza place next door but heard it's pretty good)
Bentleys
Othellos
Keystone Alley
York Street kitchen - (both eat-in plated food, and takeout sandwiches and salads)
Rundles - (top marks for food and kindly service when we were a group of 14)
Olde English Parlour - (good food and great service for our party of 18)
Harry Ten Shilling - (in the village of Shakespeare, and now also in Stratford opposite the Avon Theatre).
Raja - (bit pricey for what you get and not the best Indian food but OK)
Enjoy.
Enjoy

Thanks Mathieu. I've eaten at several, some it's been a while, others I haven't tried. We used to like Bentley's for good food at a reasonable price in a pleasant casual atmosphere, but our last meal there not long ago was not very good. I wondered if they had changed, or if it was just an uncharacteristic off night?
The Pizza at Pazzo downstairs is very good, and they have other things on the menu too including a few pastas, salads, etc.

For top-notch food at a moderate price, our favourite place is Rene's Bistro (opened in 2008):
http://www.renescuisine.com/
Othellos is closed. There is no "Acapulcos"
There are quite a few new places:
Simple Fish & Chips - very good, cafe setting
Taj Indian - haven't tried
Downie Street Burgers - heard good things from others
Backstage Grill (where Othellos was, partly)
We have a B&B in Stratford and you can see the list of places we recommend here:
