Saskatchewan Chopstick Factory?

I know it sounds crazy but a few years back my husband and I were driving the TransCanada highway from Toronto to Vancouver and were speeding very fast through the Prairies and I caught a very quick glimpse of a building with a sign that it was a chopstick factory!! It has always bugged me over the years whether I could have misread it - but then I figured we had a cucumber greenhouse in Newfoundland so perhaps this was another government idea? Anybody out there know about this? Honestly this isnt a troll - I swear I saw it, and I was sober

Chopsticks are rather ambitious for the trees on the prairies. Are you sure it wasn't matchsticks?

I too have heard that there is (or was) a chopstick factory is Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan has a lot of trees once you get reasonably far north, so raw materials is not a problem.

BAK
