Hi all - Any suggestions on where I could take my boyfriend for a romantic dinner in Montreal? We'll be celebrating Valentine's Day & his birthday. We'll be staying at Le Cantlie Suites. I'm looking for something with great atmosphere but not snooty with great food/wine. Anything priced between moderate to expensive is fine. Thanks! Happy Travels!

Expensive, elegant.

A couple of years ago, my wife and I were moving into a new home in Montreal. Dressed very casually, we were headed for a restaruant down the street when we saw a parking space in front of ClmM. It seemed to call to us.

We were warmly welcomed even though scruffy, received extraordinary service, the food was wonderful, and all in all, we thought it was an excellent meal, with no snobbery related to our dress.
