Montreal Restaurant
We (me, husband and 5 year old daughter) are staying at Lowe's Hotel Vogue in March. We are looking for a really good steak house close by. Any suggestions? We don't want to dress up and we'll probably take a cab.
Thanks-

Is the little girl coming to dinner?
Gibby's in Old Montreal is p[robably more child-friendly than some other restaurants, and serves an excellent steak, too.
And after, you can go for a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.
For what it's worth, Montreal's a pretty fashionable city. That said, I've had a great dinner, with very welcoming and excellent service, at Chez La Mere Michelle while wearing jeans.

Yes, my daughter is coming too. We actually ate at Gibby's several years ago and had a wonderful meal. I imagine we'll end up back there. Thanks for reminding me about the horse-drawn carriage rides- she'll love it!

Has anyone been to Laloux?
I want to go because the chef there was the chef at my favourite Montreal restaurant, the gone-but-not-forgotten Les Chevres, but there's no menu on their website.
Does anyone know if they have vegetarian options?
Thanks!
