Roadtrip from Vancouver to ??
Hi,
My boyfriend and I (both are 27 years old) are planning on going on a roadtrip for 3 days (not long I know), leaving from Vancouver this weekend. We have been to Vancouver Island. Just wondering on where else you recommend on travelling in 3 days (there and back). We want to relax and are happy to camp. We are open to suggests!
Thank you.

Head up Highway 99 past Whistler up/over the Coast Mountain Range to the southern Cariboo, then take the Fraser Canyon highway back.
Search out campgrounds in/around Gold River/Lillooet or even Lytton.

Mostly rural? Sam's suggestion is great.
More urban? I'd go to Seattle, slowly, staying as close to the water as possible, throughthe small towns and fishing villages.
If it was me, I'd check whether Boeing still gives tours in Everett, and whether those happen on a day you could arrange to be there.
Again, depending on the day, I make sure I visited the Pike's Place Market, and I'd take soem sort of ferry ride or boat tour from Seattle.
Just Googled Sam's route --I really like the little town of Cache Creek, and the territory around it, which is different from any other scenery I've ever seen in Canada.
You can get a sense of the difference by clicking on the satellite image in Google maps.
Now I'm jealous; myweekend highlight is Saturday breakfast in Toronto

Three days isn't very long so I wouldn't drive too far. Something that is close to home is the Chuckanut Drive out of Bellingham. There is a lovely state park there (Larabee) and you could continue down to Whidbey Island and etc

If you google these places there are some websites with gorgeous pictures to check out. This is all within a couple of hours drive from Vancouver.
