"Right Under the Sun' exhibition in Montreal: worth seeing?
I'm heading to Montreal next week for a conference, and I just read about the "Right Under the Sun" exhibition of Provence landscapes at the Musee des Beaux-Arts. Is it worth sneaking out from the conference for a morning and going to see? The Van Goghs alone might make it worth it

Mitch: last day of the exhibition is January 8th. I'm making it just in time!! I have never been to Montreal before, so I'm looking forward to my visit. Even though I am going to FREEZE (I live in Florida!!!!).

Shoot, I can't go at all then ! we're going to florida from jan 2 to 9. Till then, I'm in the laurentians.
I had it in my mind that it was ending on jan. 30.

I just went to this exhibit yesterday... it was really fantastic, especially the Van Goghs and Cezannes on display. Only problem was the crowds! Ridiculously packed. I guess because it closes soon, and many people are on vacation this week, it was crowded. Unfortunately, we had to push our way around the exhibit and there were long line-ups. I wish I had known about the exhibit earlier so we could have gone another time and enjoyed it more. But in any case, it was really nice.
