Restaurant in Vancouver near Pan Pacific

Looking for a good moderately priced restaurant (prefer Italian) near the Pan Pacific hotel for dinner the night before a cruise. There will be quite a few of us so we need something where we can reserve several large tables. Outdoor Patio (with heaters) would be an added plus. We will not have a car so a short walk or taxi ride preferred. Thank you for any suggestions!

I've always enjoyed dinner at Cin Cin Ristorante on Robson, a short taxi ride from the Pan Pacific. Very nice decor, service and food. It's a fairly good size restaurant with a heated terrace, so they may be able to accomodate a large group, cincin.net. Good luck.

Cioppino's in Yaletown is supposed to be one of the city's top Italian restaurant. It's located about a $7 cab ride away from the Pan Pacific, in Yaletown (in the south east corner of downtown). I know for a fact that they have a large heated patio, so that could be an option.

Another option is Il Giardino, on the opposite end of downtown from the Pan Pacific. Keep in mind that it only takes half an hour to walk from the north end of downtown (by the Pan Pacific) to the south end of downtown (by Il Giardino), and it too would only cost about $7 for a cab, and shouldn't take any more than 10 minutes. Il Giardino's been around for a long time in Vancouver, but still is considered one of the best Italian restaurants. It's located in an old house, and is famous for its garden terrace in the back.

Have you looked into the eateries at the Pan Pacific? Several years ago we had lunch there and the fare was a Pasta buffet, with an a la carte menu if you didn't want pasta...maybe it's still there.

We also got some great bargains at the boutiques located there! Have fun!

Hi, It's not Italian but Aqua Riva is right across the street from the Pan Pacific and the food is reasonable and good. Cin Cin and Cioppino's are also good choices
