Recommended shopping spot for a few hours in Montreal downtown?
Staying at the Sheraton this weekend and have a couple hours to shop on Saturday...last time I shopped on rue St. Catherine(?)..is the underground shopping or any mall in the area better?

I guess it all depends what you are shopping for; and what the weather is like.
The underground shopping can be like a maze; the Bay store is beautiful at this time of year if you are looking for a variety of things....
Ste Catherine street has a more interesting variety of stores, imo....
Walk west towards dela Montagne street and visit Ogilvy's- a department store that has undergone quite a bit of renovation this last year.

Clothes for teens; that would have to be Simon's; just walk up to St. Catherine st from your hotel and Simon's will be on the corner of Metcalfe I think, or close to that.
The Bay is east of that , just a couple of blocks over.
Pedestrian traffic will be heavy on ste catherine st on saturday, allow extra time.

Simon's is where I buy my clothes; love their selection. I find their styles range from classic European/French-Canadian styles to fun/funky; great for what mood may strike you. Fun for teens, but given that I and friends/colleagues in their 20s-60s enjoy shopping there, I wanted to add Simon's is far from only for teens.
