Prom Dress Shopping- Montreal

I am travelling with my teenage daughter to Montreal next week. The one item she really wants to find is a prom dress! Any suggestions for shopping for this, and for other fashions for a teenager? Thanks!!!!

Hi Cathy,

Plaza Saint-Hubert used to be a classic for shopping prom and wedding gowns (Saint-Hubert Street, around the 6500's). Looks like it still is: http://www.plaza-st-hubert.com/pages/anglais/enligne_an/enligne_frame_an.html

If you're going next week you will just be missing a huge sale at la Maison Hélène, downtown Montreal; here is the address just in case : http://www.alamaisonhelene.com/ (3921 Ste. Catherine East)

St-Hubert is probably the place to go. Definitely a discount-shopping atmosphere; consider this a good thing. Ogilvy's has a super selection of Canadian designer clothes, but basically nothing for teens; however if Mom is able to do some shopping, this makes a great stop. Holt's is also upscale for Madame.

Can someone tell me where Rue St. Hubert is located in Montreal. I've checked my maps and can't seem to find it.
