In Aug/98 my husband and I spent two weeks vacationing in Nova Scotia. On our way from Wolfville to Ingonish we spent a night at the Duncreigan Inn in the village of Mabou (over the Canso Causeway, on Route 19). We were very pleased with our stay at the Duncreigan. Our room was clean, bright, and spacious. The staff were very helpful. And, we very much enjoyed our dinner in the inn's dining room. The quality of the meal, service, and atmosphere were all very good. After our long drive from Wolfville, we appreciated the opportunity to stoll along the nearby beach (a short drive from the inn). Later, we spent the evening at a ceilidh enjoying the local music and dance - a particularly memorable experience.

You don't have to do someplace in Cape Breton. Why not try the Marine Drive to Cape Breton and spend a night at Liscomb Lodge. You could also do the New Glasgow area for a night. Great beaches there! If late July you may also catch the Riverfront Jubilee! A weekend musical extravaganza!
