Niagara Falls "nice" restaurants
I've seen so many "mixed" reviews on the nicer restaurants in the hotels - I don't mind paying a bit more for the "view" - but if the food isn't good it's not worth it to us...any recommendations???
Keg?
Watermark?
Terrapin?
Other??? also thinking of Copacabana for Sat night???

The Keg and Watermark both have good food and service. If you are looking for romantic fallsview dining, I have to warn you they are both crowded and noisy with families and groups. Watermark in particular has the tables for two by the window so close together you will think you are dining with the couple next to you, something we were very annoyed about when we spent $275 for dinner (the website photos are deceiving). The Skylon Tower revolving restaurant is also good food, but again, you are sitting inches away from the couple right beside you at the window. My advice for all of the above, eat late and ask for a booth for 4 just back from the window for privacy, you will still be able to see the falls.
I have not been to Copacabana and they only accept reservations for groups, so you could be waiting hours for a table on the weekend. Reviews on other forums have not been favourable lately.
You might also want to check the Fallsview Casino complex website for their restaurants. Some of those look very nice for a romantic evening.
Sorry I could not help with Terrapin.

The best recommendation for dining in the falls is to leave the area and drive the 20 minutes to Niagara on the lake... best choices include Peller winery, Strewn, Riverbend, On the Twenty, Vineland, Peninsula Ridge... in Niagara Falls, only 17Noir in the Fallsview Casino has gotten outstanding food reviews with the others behind... you won't regret exchanging your falls view for a table overlooking the vineyards... plus it's a beautiful ride...

Here is another vote for dining at a winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, instead of in NF. You can get set-rate cab fares between $31 and $35, each way, from NF out to the wineries. Peller Estates has a gorgeous dining room, the food is world-class, and the service is great. You could do a wine tasting before dinner even.
If you insist on eating in NF, I agree with garyt22, 17 Noir is the only high-end place really worth it in terms of food quality and surroundings.

So is The Keg not worth it in most peoples' opinions? I can get a reservation for 7pm for there, but we've eaten at the revolving restaurant in the past so I'm not sure this is a MUST for us.
What are the average prices? I haven't been to a Keg in years and that was in Toronto.

The Keg is OK if you want to grab a steak and get a decent view of the falls while eating... prices range from $13 - $30 for entrees... however I would not call it a special meal or anything better than a steak chain... if you are using a scale, its half-way between an Outback and Ruth Chris...
