Looking for a place to stay in Vancouver for a family w/2 little ones

We're thinking of going to Vancouver for a 4 day weekend or so in March (we now live in Seattle, so we'd drive). We have a 3 yr old and an almost 1 yr old, so ideally we'd have a suite and we'd love to have a mini fridge, possibly a microwave, and an available crib/pack and play would be great (although we could bring if necessary). Just trying to figure out somewhere nice to stay- near stuff we can walk to. Also, what attractions are child-friendly around there? We appreciate any input. Thanks-
Jacqui

I'd suggest looking into the Grand Residence apartments at the Sutton Place Hotel. It's in a great central location and the apartments have kitchens. Plus the apartments are in the same tower as the pool, so that's nice for families.

You'll want to go to the aquarium in Stanley Park for sure.

A few years ago we stayed in the Times Square Suites and were extremely happy with the accommodations and the location. A couple of blocks walk to famous Stanley Park with its majestic trees, excellent Aquarium and childrens attractions, walking distance to everything downtown, walk to English Bay beach, lots of interesting restaurants within a couple of blocks from fine dining to tapas to cafe to multicultural to take-out fish and chips. Our spacious condo-like suite had a full kitchen, open concept dining/living area and separate bedroom.

I can't think of any child-unfriendly attraction in Vancouver - the majority of Vancouver's attractions are not only child-friendly, but they're usually free.

One excellent website devoted to child-friendly activities in Vancouver is www.findfamilyfun.com
