Hotel between Bar Harbor and Quebec City
We are making a slow drive between Bar Harbor , Maine and Quebec City. There does not appear to be any large cities between the two and we wanted a reasonable place to stay. All i could find were extremes, either very expensive lodges or questionable places. Any suggestions? Thanks

Unsure of your route, but we often do the drive from Bar Harbour to Toronto and go via Lake Placid NY and Burlington VT. Both are charming towns with lots of hotel options for all budgets. But this may take you off your chosen route...

There's not much at all between Bar Harbor and Quebec CIty, especially in Maine. How far do you want to drive in one day?
Saint-Georges, Quebec, has quite a few places to stay, according to Tripadvisor. Of course, by the time you get to Saint-Georges, you are only about 1.5 hours from Quebec City.
Tripadvisor also says Greenville, Maine, has several places that are under $150/night (and some less than $100/night). Do all of those look bad to you?
