Help with Itinerary!
hi there,
I'm bringing a group of 19 to Canada this summer. We're going to spend 3 days at the Falls, seeing the maid of mist and hard rock cafe and poss the aquarium and NOTL.
Then its off to the African Lion Safari on our way up to Toronto. Thinking about staying in the Radisson in Toronto anyone like this hotel?
In Toronto we're hoping to vist the CN tower and then i'm kind of at a loss, heard the BATA shoe museum could be good??]
After Toronto we're heading over to Montreal where the plans are to spend 5 dyas and fit in some free Jazz, a day at La ronde and the firework competition plus the Biodrome & Cosmodrome.
Does this sound like a easily achievable goal? Some members of our group have wheelchairs and we travel in a bus which can be hard to park so any reccomendations will be V.gratefully received!!
Thanks!

Which Ramada?
See www.toronto.com for things to do and updates on what's going on when you're here. There's more than the Bata Shoe Museum and the CN Tower.

What are the ages of your group?
www.toronto.com has info about the city and will have events for the dates your group is here. There's more to see than the CN Tower and the Bata Shoe Museum.
3 days at the Falls seems a day too long to me.

3 days @ the Falls is two & a half days days too long! LOL Seriously, you can see everything you want in Niagara Falls in a day. So, spend a day there & go to Naigara-0n-the Lake in the evening of that day. Then, head to Toronto the next morning. Somebody posted an interesting schedule of Toronto activities here today. I think it is called something like "Weekend in Toronto" so take a look. It will give you some good ideas.
In addition to the things mentioned there you shd go down to Harbourfront & take the ferry over to the Islands for a picnic. Bring your camera b/c the view "back" @ Toronto is quite pretty.

The "Toronto Weekend" post that I was talking about was actually posted yesterday by a poster named eallen. So, if you want to see it, just type eallen in the "Search" line & you can access it that way. ( I see that there is another "Toronto Weekend Report: Concentration on Food" which I have not had a chance to read but you may find some good recommendations there too)

niagara falls is the armpit of south west ontario. 1 day is more than enough. also, la ronde is a joke in montreal, canada's wonderland in toronto is a much better amusement park. you could use the extra time from niagara to do a day trip there.

Before visiting the Falls, check out www.budgetniagara.com. This site offers all kinds of free activities to do that steer you away from the "tourist traps," and let you see Niagara Falls for its natural beauty rather than modern commercialism.

I just got back from Toronto, CN Tower is a must, $25 for a full trip up, great views and really exhilarating elevator ride up (that sounds weird). Ummmm... the docks are cool if you are looking for a different party type, relaxation atmosphere with lots of fun activities, and its kind of a mini amusement park/mini-golf/bar environment. You could catch a baseball game at the Skydome if they are in town. Check out the hockey hall of fame. if possible get to Ottawa, as its downtown/parliament area is really beautiful.
