I personally haven't booked with them, but I just got back from visiting my friend in London and she recommended them to me for my next trip. She's used them quite a bit and said she always upgrades to first/executive class and it's about the same price as economy on the other airlines.

I thought the name sounded familiar. It appears to be the UK booking agent for Air Transat. Air Transat is a Canadian based discount carrier. We use it, but refer to it as air sardine.

If you go to airtransat.com and click on the UK flag and plug in some dates, you end up on a Canadian affair page.

They have never lost a plane yet, but they are the airline that flew deadstick half way across the Alantic a few years back.

Canadian Affair also books on Thomas Cook flights, another charter airline which has, I've been told, more room on their planes than Air Transat. However, I can't confirm that as I haven't flown either.
