French Dining in Vancouver
Hello,
My husband (originally from Vancouver) and I will be visiting his family for a few weeks next month. We will be celebrating our Anniversary and need suggestions for French restaurants, that are not outrageously expensive (realistic).
Thanks in advance for all!

I'm not sure whereabouts in Vancouver you'll be staying. In the West End, where I live (close to downtown) there are at least two good French restaurants: Café de Paris (751 Denman, at the corner of Robson) and Le Gavroche (1616 Alberni). The former is probably slightly less expensive than the latter. Hope this helps.

For a very casual but unique French dinner, here is our favourite little restaurant:
Salade De Fruits

The Chef and Server (yes, it's a small place) are both French, and the food is always lovely, especially for its price.
You must make a reservation however.
For more formal, we have always enjoyed Hermitage downtown.
cheers,
CC

You might want to take a look at Vancouver Magazine's listings for French restaurants - http://www.vanmag.com
