Hi Rachael,

Is your friend needing to work in a Travel agency, tourist trap, etc? When I did my summer practical training from the travel school I went to, I looked for agencies in what they call the "Personnel Guide to Canada's Travel Industry" they should have one at her school (we did at ours) It lists all travel agencies with thier phone, fax and managers name, and address. It also has a listing of hotels, car rentals, tourist boards, tour operators, attractions. It is really useful when looking for a job in HT.

This would be a really good start.

I second the suggestions of www.monster.ca and www.workopolis.com. You could also try the websites for the toronto newspapers (The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star etc) www.canada.com may also have a job section i'm not sure. Alternatively you could always check the websites of hotels etc to see if they have a 'careers with us' link or something similar. www.expedia.ca or .com is one travel site that should have links to other hotel sites. You could also try the Human Resources and Development department website, I think they have an online job that includes more than just gov't jobs. I think the url is www.jobs.gc.ca or something similar
