Comfort Inn /Kingsway (Vancouver) good choice?

Try the website expedia.ca to get an idea of what some of these hotels cost. The proper name for the hotel my kids like is the Delta Pacific Resort & Conference Center. You might also look at the Plaza 500 on 12th( has rates that include breakfast and have rooms with 2 Queen size beds), Holiday Inn on Broadway, Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel (actually at the foot of Oak St.$102), Travelodge on Howe ($107), Holiday Inn Express Richmond (Kids Suite 149), Accent Inn Stay & Save (109) has a bed and pull-out couch arrangement, no charge for parking. Do you have a AAA/CAA membership card? That can affect your rate. Good luck.

I looked at the expedia.ca site and the prices are a bit different for some reason : Delta Pacific Resort & Conference Center $95 cdn (2 double beds) Plaza 500 139$ - $189 Cdn Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel $112 - $122 CDN Accent Inn Stay & Save $119 Cdn I have a CAA membership card The Delta Pacific Resort & Conference Center really sound to good to be true! This is a special weekend rate but it's for 2 double beds.. I will try to phone them and see if I can get this rate only through expedia.ca

oups, I forgot, there was also the Travelodge on Howe @ $125.10 Cdn/night and the Holiday Inn Express Richmond @ $149 Please tell me more about the location of the Delta. I called them but the best rate they could give over the phone for a Signature room was $129 so I would have to book through Expedia

The area is busy, noisy and unpleasant. I agree with a previous recommendation of Steveston. It is a lovely quaint area. The area around Kingsway is busier than downtown because of traffic flows.You could try Tsawwassen Inn (30 min from Vancouver and full of beaches) or any motels in Tsawwassen (Beach Grove Motel or Tsawwessen Motel) - I think they are quite inexpensivethough I have never stayed there. The Town and Country just off the main highway and a closer commute to Vancouver. Tsawwassen borders Richmond and is part of Delta. There are also some nice places in White Rock which is also near the beach but further from Vancouver.
