Well, it depends -- what's your budget and do you want to be downtown? Suburbs? Airport?

Give us a few more details.

Depending on where you come from, Toronto is not an inexpensive town.

Compared to Dubai, New York, London, Paris... Toronto is bargainville.

But compared to lots of other places, it's expensive.

We keep reading here about people who get bargains with Priceline, inclujding the Sheraton Centre hotel, which is a great place for kids. Nice pool, "indoor" park, close to lots of stuff kids like.

Got a car? That opens up some other places to stay. The Four Points by Sheraton on Airport Road is a long way from downtown, but there's a conveninet (more or less... it's a long ride) bus-subway connection just across the street.

The Four Points on Lakeshore Blvd. West is right across the street from a park / playground, easy drive to lots of interesting places, and close to a streetcar to downtown, too.

Have you looked into the Delta Chelsea at Yonge & Gerrard? It has a reputation for being family-friendly and is usually quite reasonably priced.

(I think kids might stay and eat for free, but don't quote me on that)
