Between Cape Breton and Digby

Can anyone suggest a place to stop between Cape Breton and Digby? I am looking for a hotel/location between the two points.
Thank You

About 7.5 hrs b/t Keltic & Digby.
Do you have the NS Dept. of Tourism Travel guide, "Doers' & Dreamers'"? Included is a map of NS w/ directions & driving times. If you do not have it, you can order it online @ www.novascotia.com
If you can tell me how long you want to drive, I can suggest an in-between place. How are you getting to Keltic? Flying to Sydney? Halifax?

Thank you for your response. I have the guide and have planned the itinerary. I have studied the map between the Keltic Lodge and Digby. I think 3-4 hrs of driving would be enough. We will be traveling with two children and do not want a B&B. We considered the Pictou Lodge, but frankly weren't impressed and the posts have not been very favorable. Would you recommned Truro?

Try www.stonehamechalets.com. They are located in the Pictou area.

Pictou has a wide variety of accommodations to suit you. I would recommend any of the following:
Bonniebrae B&B
Braeside Inn
Seabank Suites
Willow House Inn
The Consultate Inn (have cottages too)
Evening Sail (have suites)
Pictou Lodge is a lovely spot to stay. The food is quite good and the location is spectacular. The others I have mentioned are in the Town of Pictou which is quite picturesque. While in Pictou, stroll the waterfront. Stop into Carvers (a woodcarving studio/coffeeshop/pub). Lots of shops to browse! There may be entertainment at the deCoste Centre.

Stonehame Chalets is a great spot as well, more isolated.
