Best Western Beacon Harborside?

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? We will have four adults and no children in June of this year.

Two years ago when we were in Niagara Falls and driving to Burlington on the QEW we went past a chain hotel right on the lakeside not too far from Niagara Falls. I am thinking this is the one we went past.

Cleo, Hi! I think you are right. It used to be called "The Beacon" but now is a chain hotel. It is on the South side of the QEW. Maybe a quick phone call to the hotel will confirm this for you. Just out of curiosity, why wld you want to stay "way out there"?? It is dead smack in the middle of nowhere. Maybe it is "on the way" to wherever you are going & a convenient place to stop for the night?

Wow,

Thanks for your quick response!

We are four adults traveling from Iowa. All of us live in the country on or near a farm. Last time we went to Niagara Falls we stayed at the Best Western Cairn Croft on Lundy's Lane around all the hustle. This time I thought it would be nice to stay at a quieter place along the lakeside. It is only what about 10 miles from Niagara Falls? That is not very far. We travel 15-30 miles to work everyday.

We will be traveling around Ontario to Niagara Falls, Toronto and to Smith Falls to see the Hershey's plant while we were there.

Sounds like a good plan! It's about 20 minutes from NF depending on what part of NF....5 minutes from St Catharines. Close anyway. Someone told me the other day that there is a little restaurant not far from your hotel that is really really good. It's on the same side of the highway. Looks like a farmhouse. White w/ green shutters. I expect you will also be going to Jordan.

Thanks Wow for the restaurant advise! You must be a mind reader to know that after a hotel, good food is the next on my list.

I haven't really looked into what is in Jordon but if it is the closest town to the hotel I am sure we will be going there also.
