L'Echaudé has a reputation for a good brunch, but you might want to check Chowhound for other suggestions.

Le cochon dingue
Le Toast

Another vote for le cochon dingue....it was delicious!! But there was a bit of a line up so reservations would be wise.

Why not the Frontenac for brunch. It might be $45 per person but well worht it considering the quality of the food and the ambience. You may need to make reservations a day in advance. During the week they have a lunch buffet for about $30 and its really good. I ate there last spring and loved it.
