Best land travel for Canadian Maritines

My husband and I just retired so we want to visit the Canadian Maritines. My husband would prefer taking an escorted tour, preferably with a smaller group versus the large tour bus with 45-55 passengers. How would you compare Tauck, Collette, and Caravan for this proposed trip? Any other land travel companies that any of the readers would recommend ?

Thank you for any recommendations or reviews.

Well I'll jump in to say that we did take a tour of New Brunswick and the Maritimes two years ago and enjoyed it. We were with Grand Circle and did have a bus load but an advantage in having no driving and a good travel guide (a native of Halifax). Don't know about other companies. Of course one could enjoy the trip without a tour if you want to make plans. Surely will want to include Campobello Island.

Our first trip to Newfoundland some years ago was with Maxxim Vacations. It is a well established company that specializes in the Maritimes. We did a fly/drive package with most of our accommodations in BnBs and small inns. It was a great way to travel as we had some flexibility on how we spent our days and companionship of other travellers at the accommodation. They do escorted tours as well, so worth a look.
