Are ferry reservations needed Vancouver to Victoria?
We will have a car in Vancouver. Going to Victoria Aug 3 and returning Aug 6 from Nanaimo. Should I make reservations ahead of these trips?

I would make reservations especially at that time of year. If no reservations, and the ferry is full, you have to wait for the next one. Please see www.bcferries.com/ for details.

i would make reservations for both days but definitely for august 3...it's a holiday.

August 3rd may be problematic as it is the last day of the long weekend holidays (BC Day) so a reservation for that day would be a must.
