would be extremly grateful if anyone knows anything about this company---my elderly family members knew/know a founder , apparently set-up in london, ontario many years ago--originally from Ireland. I have to try and make contact with this family on my trip next week. i know the family name but i dont want to post it----yet---

www.canada411.ca will give you telephone numbers and addresses of people in London, Ontario.

London's a three hour, or so, drive from Toronto. Easy enough to get to, but borng trip.I did this every Monday for half a year, and developed new routes to keep the boredom away. Some would give you a good little tour of small town Ontario, Including going theough Paris on your way to London.

no torontopm, this company is not listed under google, we reckon these people have long since retired and may have sold the business on ( they are in their 60's now) thanks------

This may (or may not?) help you. Go to this website:

http://www.yellowpages.ca/searchBusiness.do

And do a search using "fabric retail" or "textiles" for category, and "London" for city.

Good luck.

I was with a furniture manufacturer for 23 years and bought fabric for that the company. I did some business with them, and was in their plants in Jefferson, WI, and Chattanooga, TN. The product was what we called "bear-hair". The product we used resembled powder-puff material.
