Another question about driving through Montreal
Laverendrye, I hope you see this... or anyone else that knows Montreal.
When I'm driving along the 401, and it becomes 20,
is there any reason to go up 540 to 40 , and then back down 13 to 20 ?
Can I just stay on 20 til I get to 10/15 Champlain Bridge ?
I'd appreciate any help. Mapquest and Google keep taking me up 40 and through the tunnel.

Yes, of course. It's probably the best way when you are coming from Toronto. There are some stretches where it's not an autoroute, but still a divided highway. On balance it will be faster than going up to 40 and back down 13.
I rarely go that way, as most of the time I'm either coming from or going to Ottawa.
