Another question about driving through Montreal
Laverendrye, I hope you see this... or anyone else that knows Montreal.
When I'm driving along the 401, and it becomes 20, is there any reason to go up 540 to 40 , and then back down 13 to 20 ? Can I just stay on 20 til I get to 10/15 Champlain Bridge ? I'd appreciate any help. Mapquest and Google keep taking me up 40 and through the tunnel. |
Yes, of course. It's probably the best way when you are coming from Toronto. There are some stretches where it's not an autoroute, but still a divided highway. On balance it will be faster than going up to 40 and back down 13.
I rarely go that way, as most of the time I'm either coming from or going to Ottawa. |
Laverendrye, thank you very much. We will have a long way to go that day, and want to get through Montreal the quickest way possible.
I've got it straight in my head now. I appreciate your help. |
kodi, when are you hitting the road? I leave Thursday.
|
We leave Friday. and I'm very excited.
