2 boys, one day in Toronto

We have 2 eight year old boys...one day in Toronto? What activities do you recommend?
Any special theme food restaurants that are DON'T MISS for the kids?

Thank you very much!

oh my goodness, mrsgo. I didn't realize you were coming to Toronto too. I'll see if I can get some coupons for Toronto stuff.

If they're hockey fans, they'll like the Hockey Hall of Fame

If it's not too expensive and you can stand the height, take them up to the top of the CN tower.

Dinner, Rainforest CAfe, Yorkdale Shopping Center, easy to get to via the subway, which is a treat for a kid anyway.

CN Tower is good for a few hours, and fun for adults, too.

Hot dogs and fries from a truck in front of City Hall is a good lunch in a nice place, from a kid's perspective.

CEntreville Amusement Park on Toronto Island -- god for a couple of hours, plus it involves the ferry boat ride.

The zoo is a million miles away, and expensive. The Science Centre is only half a million miles away, and expensive, but could be worth the trip if the kids are sciency types.

mrsgo,
one of the coupons I'm putting in the post today is for the Science Centre. That should help defray the cost, if you do decide to go.
