When to buy Airtickets to Australia
Hi,
I'm planning a trip to Australia for July/August 08; 2 people flying from the US, 1 from Europe.
We have been watching air tickets but seriously I have no idea when to buy finally. Is there a "best" month?
Thanks in advance.

Qantas has a nice sale on their AirPass. Though the AirPass is sometimes not the most cost-effective option, this would be hard for me to pass up:

Farecast <http://farecast.com/> attempts to determine the best time to buy tickets by predicting when they will go up or down in price.

With the trends in oil prices, I can see air fares only going up.That said, it'll be wise to book ASAP. We're going to Australia and NZ in a month and booked many months ago at much less than current rates. Check into Air NZ - much cheaper than Qantas, from the WEst Coast.
