Has anyone used Usave Rental Company in N.Z.?

I used Rite Price Car Rentals, but because they are located out of town, U Save Car Rentals looked after my paper work and it was their location where I picked up and returned my car. Their rates seemed very good and I was very very pleased with the customer service. It was Michelle I dealt with, and she was really good. She loaded me up with lots of free books and maps and advice.

I met up with an Australian friend when I was in Auckland, who rented a car from one of the big companies. He was with me when I dropped off my car and could not believe what good rates USave offered. He said he will be using them on his next visit.

Based on what I experienced, I wouldn't hesitate to use them.

jacylou, I was just reading one of your earlier posts. Did you go to Central Europe a couple of years ago? And did you go with a tour?
Just curious , as I'm going in 3 weeks.

Yes, we went to Eastern Europe with Grand Circle. Why do you ask?

And thanks, kodi, for the info on Usave. They offered us a great rate for 2 weeks in New Zealand. I think we will have to take them up on it!

jacylou, we are going to central Europe in 3 weeks with Friendly Planet and I just wondered if you had gone with them. I've heard great things about Grand Circle. I hope my experience with Friendly Planet is a good one. I shouldn't be hijaking the Australian forum! But any great tips of this part of Europe?

I think you'll be fine with USave. And it's right near the airport. In fact, they picked me up when my flight got in to Auckland.
