Thanks, Melnq8!

I learned that the Gordon River cruise leaves Strahan at 8:30AM--and returns around 2:30PM. So we might just spend one night there (the night before the cruise) then drive to Lake St. Claire after the cruise. If we do that, we could add a night elsewhere -- maybe Launceston. I don't know if we could do the bird sanctuary, Narawntapu National Park, and Cataract Gorge -- with only one night in Launceston.

When I began this thread I was completely overwhelmed. Now, at least we're getting close!!!

Thanks again to all of you for your help!!!

You can go and see the Japanese macaques in their enclosure in Launceston City Park!

Seeing Japanese macaques sounds AWESOME!!!

Again, thanks so much to all who've helped. Now I can start thinking about my questions about all the other cities in OZ an NZ that we'll be visiting. AGGHH!!!

A lot of it will involve work, but it looks like we'll be gone 6 - 7 weeks. Tasmania will be the vacation at the end--the reward for all the hard work!
